BIG event: Taste of PIZZA - Wheaton Style
Winter Blood Drive The Knights would like to thank everyone who participated in the January Blood Drive. We once again had a terrific turnout in spite of the frigid morning temperatures, and Heartland was able to collect nearly 60 pints of blood.
Mark your calendars – the next Saint Daniel Blood Drive will be on Saturday, June 9. We hope to see you there.
17th Annual Pasta Dinner and Auction Benefit
Dinner included appetizers of Bruschetta bread, Chicken Kabobs, and Jumbo Stuffed Mushrooms, a delicious pasta dinner of Penne Pasta, Italian Sausage, and Jumbo Stuffed shells, with Carrot Cake for dessert. The night of events included silent auctions, a live auction, raffles, heads or tails game, and the popular Wall of Wine.

A special thank you to our sponsors whose generosity helped to make this event so successful, especially Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Rosati’s Pizza, and Houlihan’s for providing the delicious food, and to Sharko’s Catering and Banquets for the food preparation and serving.
All profits will go to help families in our own community who are struggling with medical expenses.

council The council has been active in sponsoring many parish social events for the family and adults, including Pancake/French Toast Breakfasts, Annual Pasta Dinner and Auction, Free Throw Contest, Easter Egg Hunt, Taste of Wheaton Pizza Night, Annual Golf Outing and Dinner, Blood Drives, and Annual Tootsie Roll Drive. In 2010, the council raised over $5,000 for people in our local community with mental and developmental disabilities. The Council has raised over $400,000 for charitable causes since its formation in 1991!!! The majority of this amount has been used for support in our local community. Our council has helped those with major medical problems, helping with bills to insure a family was able to keep their home (for 7 years). The Council presently supports four families with major medical expenses. It is through the support of our community that we have been able to make this happen. If you would like to help out by donating to our cause please click here. We now accept credit and debit cards via a secure server on Pay Pal and you do not need to have a Pay Pal account.
