Next Big Event! 19th Annual Special People Golf Benefit

The Knights of Columbus Annual Golf and Dinner outing will be held Friday, August 6th, 2010, at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, IL. 

In the past 18 years this high-profile event has raised thousands of dollars to assist the "Special Camps" and "Special Olympics" programs, and the needs of kids that are Developmentally Disabled.

About our council
Our Parish Knights of Columbus Council 10575 was formed by St. Daniel the Prophet Parish men, many were active on the weekend setting up and taking down of the Church environment for our Sunday Liturgy at two local schools.

The council has been active in sponsoring parish social events for the family and adults, such as: Pancake/French Toast Breakfast, Pasta Dinner, Steak and Chicken Dinners, Parish Picnic, Free Throw Contest, Easter Egg Hunt, Taste of Wheaton Pizza Night, Golf Outing, Blood Drives, 50's and 60's Dance and many more.

The council has raised over $220,000 since the Council’s creation in March of 1991.  The majority of this amount has been used for support in our local community.  Our council has helped those with major medical problems, helping with bills to insure a family was able to keep their home (for 7 years).  The Council presently supports four families with major medical expenses. It is through the support of our community that we have been able to make this happen. If you would like to help out by donating to our cause please click here. Council information

Council meetings
Our regular council business meetings are at 7:00pm on the second Monday of each month and social meetings are at 7:00pm on the fourth Monday of each month. Both meetings are held in room 108 of the St. Daniel's Parish Center. Also for our brothers that cannot join us for meetings on Monday evenings, we also have a breakfast social meeting once a month at 7:00am on a Saturday please check the calendar for the location we move to different restaurants to support the local businesses that support us .
